Asphalt Maintenance Solutions: Leading the Way in Pavement Preservation
Asphalt Maintenance Solutions (AMS) is being recognized with a PAAMA Award for its exemplary use of pavement preservation techniques to benefit both the taxpayer and the environment. The company’s successful project demonstrates how agencies can utilize quality PAMMA pavement preservation processes, such as Chip and Fog Seal, to repair and preserve roads at a significantly lower cost.

Vestal Asphalt: A Model of Sustainability and Cost Efficiency
Vestal Asphalt was selected for its innovative project that demonstrated the power of recycling and preservation techniques in asphalt maintenance. Their project, which served Franklin Township in Susquehanna County, involved recycling existing asphalt and base materials that had already been purchased by the township, cutting down on both material costs and waste. Vestal then applied environmentally friendly emulsion-based treatments to protect and preserve the surface.
